New Music Video: “100 Rounds” - Prowler

Below is a new music video and track called “100 Rounds” from Prowler. In the footage, you’ll find a funeral procession, a joyous dance stroll, guts, zombies, funkiness and much more. The video was directed by Abigail Bruley and Jimmy Viola. Prowler will be celebrating the release of their new EP Y’all Don’t Know this Saturday, October 13 at Johnny Brenda’s with Sunny Ali & the Kid and Busses.

The Ball w/Prowler at KFN May 18

DJ Apt One and DJ Bruce are ready to get Kung Fu Necktie moving when they host The Ball tonight. And for the first time since it opened to the public, Willyum and Jesse Merlin will be taking you to higher frequencies of booty moving upstairs. It’s shaping up to be the summer of Prowler this year for the incendiary electronic dance party band that is getting ready to cut another album and unleash some fresh new beats upon the masses. And if the most recent songs that they’ve revealed "Leap Year" and "Sideways" are any indication, it’s going to be a hot time in the city tonight. Free Download: “Decrease the Beast” - Prowler

Prowler continues down a more chilled out, sinister musical path than the hyperactive funk fest that we are used to from the local five-piece with their latest murky “swamp rock” track “Decrease the Beast.” You can download it for free below.

Free Download: “Leap Year” - Prowler

Below is a new track from Prowler called “Leap Year.” It’s a rather chilled out offering compared to the usual spastic hyper-space funk jams that you are probably used to from the local five-piece. It’s available for free download below, and they also have freebies for their covers of INXS’ “Need You Tonight” and The Stooges’ “I Wanna Be Your Dog” HERE. (Photo by Chris Sembrot)
