Attia Taylor Opening for The Polyphonic Spree at TLA May 25

Attia Taylor has been a lo-fi darling of The Deli for quite some time now. The Girard College grad, Girls Rock Philly alumnus and now dedicated GRP counselor has been building a following by captivating audiences with her experimental bedroom pop and heartwarming positivity. She has also been quite the supporter of the indie music scene as a co-founder (along with Madeline Thomas) of the celebratory female musician blog Lady.Bang.Beat. and her work with Tom Tom Magazine. Attia Taylor will be opening tonight on the big stage of the TLA for infamous cult band The Polyphonic Spree. We just hope that they don’t fall in love with her like we have and try to brainwash her backstage. (BITBY, don’t let her put on a robe!) Theatre of Living Arts, 334 South St., 8pm, $18 (+fees), All Ages - H.M. Kauffman
